Auction to Benefit Kitsap Humane Society
We are thrilled to announce that our upcoming online auction will support the Kitsap Humane Society. This exciting collaboration reflects Blue Nest Home’s commitment to serving the community, including its furry members.
People donate all kinds of things to Kitsap Humane Society. Food, toys, pet beds, even cars – but it’s not often that it’s a house. But that’s exactly what happened a couple of months ago when a community member with a shared love of animals bequeathed a Kingston home – with all its contents.
The home needs to be cleaned up in order to sell it. Blue Nest Home has stepped in and offered to clear it out with an online auction to get it ready. We have also recruited some of our community partners to donate their services to this project. A big thank you to Kitsap Junk Removal and Don’s Carpet Cleaning for donating their services. Home Clear Out to Help Pets
Blue Nest Home is proud to donate the labor to help the Kitsap Humane Society clear out the gifted home. Large donations like this mean that the Kitsap Humane Society can offer needed animal services in our community.
This unique auction aims to raise funds to support the invaluable work of Kitsap Humane Society in caring for and finding loving homes for animals in need. By collaborating with the community, Blue Nest Home aims to make a significant difference in the lives of these animals, ensuring they receive the care, shelter, and attention they deserve.
Kennels to Nests
The online auction, “Kennels to Nests,” is scheduled to start on August 16th and begin ending at 6:30 on August 26th. Pick-up is planned for August 29th.
“We believe that a thriving community extends its support to all its members, including our beloved four-legged friends,” said Sheila Perrault, owner of Blue Nest Home. “With Kennels to Nests, we aim to help clear out a home to quickly go on the market and, at the same time, raise money for the Kitsap Humane Society. We hope to bring together our community to positively impact the lives of animals in need. ”
